Introduction:
Heritage Women of the Word is a inter-denominational outreach ministry to all women hosted
by Heritage Baptist Church in Shawnee OK. In the Fall of 1994, WOW's first Tuesday night
dinner program had 30 participants. Now WOW has over 300 women meeting for dinner and a
program speaker. WOW is known for its welcoming atmosphere, practical topics of
interest to women, worship music led by Dove Award nominee Jennifer Rothschild, time for ministry,
decoration themes, and free babysitting and delicious food.
