Technology is exploding by leaps and bounds so much so it is hard to keep up with all of it! Since Apple introduced the iPad in April 2010 and the iPad 2 in March 2011, Apple has sold more than 15 million iPads worldwide. As tablet devices get more and more popular, there are also more people looking for ways to specifically utilize them for their ministry.
Apps have great potential in ministry. They can be an easy resource to link all of your fans to both your Twitter and Facebook accounts at the touch of a button. Applications can be set up to link people to your website, blog, online resources, schedules, and products. Our friend Lysa TerKeurst with Proverbs 31 Ministries just developed her very own app using a company called The Church App.
