Ministry Idea: Prayer Calendar
Incorporate this idea into your next Bible study, ladies night out or prayer group. You will help build community and unite the women through prayer. We always discover that true ministry begins with prayer, and there is nothing better than seeing your women pray for each other
Purpose: To build community and bless women through prayer for each other.
Description: Distribute a calendar for the coming month. Have each woman write her name on a specific date. They might select a date on which they have a specific need, or they may just choose random dates. Fill in remaining days with other requests for women who are not present, upcoming events, church ministries, missionaries, government leaders, etc.
Once the calendar is full, make copies for each woman in the group.
It is such a personal blessing to look at the calendar and know that a whole group of ladies are specifically praying for you on your day. It is also amazing to follow up and see how God worked in each woman's life on her prayer day.
