Arlene brings to any event a fresh and vibrant perspective balanced by a genuine compassion for women in every facet of life. Born in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia, she never fails to delight and challenge her audiences with her quick wit and southern-style wisdom.

Arlene is the director for the National Women's Department with the Assemblies of God. She has an extensive speaking history that includes platform ministry and women's and ministers' wives retreats. She is a published writer and is the editor of all AG women's publications.

Arlene serves on the boards of Women in Ministry Network, Religious Alliance Against Pornography, National Association of Evangelicals and iCare…about protecting children.

She is married to Dr. Gary R. Allen, the executive director of the Ministerial Enrichment office in Springfield, Missouri.  The Allen's are parents of two sons and are proud grandparents of two “incredible” grandsons, Grant and Jacob.
