Our Ladies Ministry Team is coordinating our second annual teacup exchange on the 13th.  I must admit I took this idea from another church that has been doing it for 10 years.

We use beautiful tablecloths, real napkins, beautiful centerpieces, etc. to make this a special occasion.  It is
held from 2-4 and the ladies are asked to bring a lovely china or porcelain teacup.  The cups are exchanged
and the ladies then drink tea from the cup they receive.  We have sandwiches, special deserts, etc. served by our teenage girls.  The book "A Cup of Christmas Tea" is read, with some special music and a short devotional.

We used to have a Christmas banquet in December, but this event in November worked very well last year.  All year long the ladies are looking for the teacup they will bring to exchange.  Since Tea is now so popular, you ladies might want to try it.
