This is a wonderful suggestion to help even quiet women share about themselves. Rather than using a lot of words, which might feel uncomfortable to them, they can demonstrate their creativity thru scarf tying. It would be fun to have a variety of scarves on hand - oblong, square, shoulder-wrap style, solids, patterns, silks, cottons, etc. To help the women who is not gifted in this area, you could allow suggestions to be called out from the audience.
The women in our church often feel disconnected from one another. We began "Mom and Baby Connection" to minister to pregnant women and new mothers in our congregation. We pray for needs during and after pregnancy, visit new mothers, take a picture to celebrate the new arrival and leave behind a basket of blessing with items for the new mom, baby and any siblings.
I loved reading this article about "Bundles of Joy" because it challenged me to consider how me might extend "Mom and Baby Connection" beyond the walls of our church.
